October's Meeting

We had another lovely lunch at Mimi's Cafe discussing The Shack. There were a wide variety of opinions and we ended up using a grading scale (A, B, C, D, F) complete with plusses and minuses to express our overall views of the book.

We decided to go ahead and meet at Mimi's Cafe again on November 7th at 12:15pm. So far, we haven't had to wait long for a table, it's quiet enough to talk and be heard, and they don't seem to want to rush us out. However, we can still discuss other locations at our next meeting if there is another place we'd like to try.

In November, we will be discussing When Heaven and Earth Changed Places by Le Ly Hayslip. It's much longer than The Shack, so give yourself plenty of time! At our next meeting, please come prepared with some suggestions for books to read in January, February, and following.
